Former England captain delivers two-footed challenge on innocent English language
For some time, I have been of the belief that David Beckham does not write his own blog. The posts are too regular, too concise and too well-presented to represent the digital scribbling of a man who is paid to work outdoors. In his latest post, however, gems such as the following were slipped in:
“Unfortunately, the year didn’t pass without a few injuries”
The signature jumbled syntax suggests that either Mr B has been personally prodding the keyboard from his Hertfordshire estate, or that his website manager is still on Christmas break and the work experience kid has been given a little too much control.
