One day left for Capello

Will he be able to master the English language?

At his official showcasing at FA headquarters, Fabio Capello boasted (through a translator) that he will be able to speak English after just one month of learning. The press conference was exactly a month ago tomorrow, meaning the Italian has less than a day to begin speaking slowly and clearly enough for John Terry to understand.

Sources say his command of the language is currently worse than most employees of KFC, and he will almost certainly have to use a translator when the England squad regroups for the first time since the Croatia debacle.

Mr Capello, you have twenty four hours to get to grips with one of the most difficult western languages, or you will have failed your first test.
