Germans run into another comic pothole in their language

Triple Euro winners try to lift our spirits with some unintentionally vulgar slogans

You don’t need to be reminded that June is going to be a slow month without a major football tournament to worry about, but at least the Germans, with their famous sense of humour, have tried to cheer us up.

Their official slogan for Euro 2008 is ‘keiner wankt’, which roughly translates to ‘no one gives up.’ They’ve gone and emblazoned it on their official merchandise, such as the rather fetching track top above.

If you want to make schoolchildren giggle as you walk by, and are prepared to be beaten up for showing support for the Germans, why not purchase the naughty top here?

Still won’t win it, whatever they may do!
