Why don’t you check out the pitches at Wigan and Old Trafford before you open your gob about the African pitches.

As for the stadium being half empty, they can’t afford it …….simple enough? You arrogant numpty!!!

Yeah agree with above, arrogant comments from someone who has not been I reckon. First of all check out any of the Ghana games, I have been to all of them and they have been packed and an friendly atmosphere that the likes of ignorant you can only imagine. The last game Nigeria vs Ghana was an amazing game!! Not only that but Nigerians sat with Ghanaians…please take note that putting English with German supporters (for example) would just not happen. So this is something you have to take your hats off to African’s. Yes the pitches are not as good as Europe and yes some people can not afford to travel to Ghana to support there country.

The African Cup of Nations is none the less a superb advert for quality football, goals and amazing friendly atmosphere.

You are just ignorant my friend and you need to get out of your little box and see the world ;)

This story was posted three weeks ago (when grounds in the ACN were half-empty). A clue to the date it appeared can be found in the reference to the Carling Cup semi-final, and another in the words “Jan 22″. Could someone please tell me on which site it has appeared today (c-word optional)?

It has arrived on the newsnow site today February 6th.

That is why everyone is a tad confused, you have been called a cunt because it is mainly gooners that have replied and they are an insy winsy upset at the moment having been slaughtered 5-1 in the aforementioned Semi final they they did not want to win (apparently) ;-)

Hang on. Let me just read that first bit of wrighty’s post again: “We lost to a shit team”. “We lost 5-1 to a shit team”. “arsenal lost 5-1 to a shit Tottenham team”. “wenger’s, arsenal wunderkinds, lost 5-1 to a pre Woodgate & Hutton Tottenham Hotspur team”.
Ahhhh…..music to my ears. Thanks wrighty. Mwooua! ;-)

Dear seanyboy, the trick, to avoid showing how annoyed you are deep down, is NOT writing in block capitals. You’re shouting too loud guy! What a givaway. Love, a very happy (and soon to be happier) Spud.
