WAG No. 18: Lizzie Cundy
You’ve seen her in the movies, you just don’t know it
This morning’s Sun newspaper reports that ropey busty glamour model Alicia Douvall threw a scalding sup of tea over Lizzie Cundy – the WAG of ex-Spurs and Chelsea defender Jason. The ladies threw down fisticuffs after Alicia blasted ‘cheating rat’ footballers, while Lizzie had a go at ‘kiss and tell’ girl. Fortunately, the thick levels of make-up involved meant no models were harmed in the Ashley Cole-inspired incident.
Thirty-seven-year-old Lizzie appears on Wedding TV’s WAGs World every Tuesday night at 10pm, but she also has an established career as a Bond girl body double. Not only did she enjoy bedroom scenes with ‘the hairiest man alive’ Pierce Brosnan in The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies, but her legs appear on the poster for Goldeneye.
Liz narrowly avoided a career suicide by declining an appearing in 2007′s Celebrity Big Brother house (the one that painted Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd with the racism brush). She and Jason pulled out at the last minute, as she (wisely) believed the media scrutiny would be too much for her two young children. Controversially, however, Liz defends her ‘friend’ Danielle Lloyd whenever she gets in a scrape, and she is a strong advocate of the WAGs who make a living from snaring a ‘baller:
“I think the WAG label is tongue in cheek and if a girl can make a buck from it, good for them.”
Remember folks, Lizzie’s show WAGs World, a gig she landed solely on the premise of being a WAG, is on Wedding TV, Tuesdays at 10pm.

I like Lizzie at least she is making her own money and not relying on her husband to support her. She may defend Danielle but I think it is because since she met her in person she knows that she is a genuine person and has a good heart not that many people on here think so! Did you know that Lizzie and Danielle hate the word WAG they hate being labeled a WAG as they both have their own careers and earn their own money not like some of the other WAGS who only got famous because they married a footballer and then these big companies come in and offer them money as the other half to the footballer. Think about it what would you rather have someone who earns their own money or a sponger who goes to clubs gets free drinks all night and they do this night after night and have you noticed that they all are managed by the same person! check Neon Management out and also Johnathon Lipman you will see what I mean. You won’t find Danielle or Lizzie on there I bet.

I haven’t seen Wags World (fortunately) but I’d support the above comments that Lizzie seems genuinely afable and seemingly has a few more brain cells up top than most WAGS: I interviewed her briefly, unarranged, at a charity footy match in Tooting last year. She came across bubbly and approachable: her and Jason do a lot of charity work (particularly raising awareness of testicular cancer given Jason’s experience of it) and she seemed genuinely warm-hearted. Jason is an intelligent guy in his radio punditry so great to see a family couple who defy the ‘dumb’ image which is, probably rightly, true of most WAGS.

Just seen her on TV. Pumped up lips, and pulled back eyebrows. She seriously looks late 40s so that just goes to show that cosmetic surgery doesnt work!!! Ha

She’s so old she was looking for a retirement home in the sun. Pete Burns is a better looking woman. Ok thats not strictly true…but she needs to find a better surgeon.

Lizzie could certainly do with a makeunder, what a shame she felt the need to do that to herself, I’m sure she was very pretty anyway.
‘So Would You Dump Me Now’ is possibly the cringiest programme I have ever seen, focussing as it did on making the poor dumpee look like Lizzie and her friend, rather than emphasising her natural beauty (a la Gok). It was very sad and a bit creepy…

lizzie is lovely , went to school with her ,she always had lovely lips and beautiful face … u guys are jealous ! she is a genine nice girl too , she is a top presenter!

i like lizzie too! she may be into plastic surgery but SO WHAT. it’s her life and her face and it doesn’t seem to stop her from getting work! people don’t like my tattoos because they look creepy. get over yourself. if this was your world, you could have it all your way! those women on her show knew they were getting serious make overs. the show spent thousands on them. if they wanted the natural look they wouldn’t have picked that show!
