Chelsea man weeps his way into Capello’s heart
Everyone has been bleating and blathering about how it took courage for Terry to stand up and take the dreaded fifth penalty in the Champions League final. What bottle, they weep, moved by his bravery. And yet, have they forgotten what actually happened? The guy missed it. It was a BAD decision to take it.
But it’s amazing what a few tears can achieve, and after what must surely be stronger cases for the England captaincy from Rio Ferdinand and Stevie Gerrard, JT has somehow convinced the England boss that he’s worthy of the armband tomorrow night. The big tabloid pundits see this appointment as Capello’s full-time choice after a few games experimenting.
Has the Italian made the right move?

I’m disappointed that Mr. Capello allowed himself to be moved by undeserved sympathy. My estimation of the man has dropped a degree.
