Transfer talk

It’s July 7th, so why isn’t Cristiano Ronaldo a Real Madrid player yet?

Today’s rumours, gossip and damned lies

Cristiano Ronaldo and the Real Madrid saga

According to reports in the Spanish press a few weeks ago, the Cristiano Ronaldo saga was due to end today:

“According to Robert Gomez, the club intend to offically announce the Portuguese’s transfer on July 7.”

Here we are on the big day, and the tricky winger is no closer to becoming one of Los Blancos. Perhaps it’s because Roman Calderon has taken a leaf from C-Ron’s book and sent everybody mixed messages – just yesterday he conceded defeat in the race to sign the Portuguese star, yet today he is so confident in signing him that he would bet on it. Those two and their endless deceptions are made for each other.

Elsewhere on the rumour vine:

Kaka to Chelsea
The Blues claim they’re not interested in the young Brazilian and it’s all one big evil lie, but the Daily Express claim that the “astronomical” bid was just an opener and that Chelsea will now up their offer to £75 million.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Reasonable chance Kaka could be on his way

Ronaldinho to AC Milan
One Brazilian who looks sent to reject a move to England is Ronaldinho, with not even an offer of £200,000 a week proving enough to make Man City look like a good career move. Brazil coach Dunga says he will join Milan.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Looks like Milan will win this fight

The Frank Lampard saga latest
While Chelsea are supposedly offering £75 million for the one Milan-based midfielder, the opening offer for their own star midfielder is reported to be as low as £6.5 million. Negotiations are open.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Inter can control negotiations with the threat of taking him for free next summer

Klaas Jan Huntelaar to Manchester Utd or Arsenal
The £18million-rated Dutchman scored 33 goals last season and is apparently attracting both clubs’ interest. Arsenal have already usurped United for Aaron Ramsey this summer – can they do it again?

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Yes they can

Man, Inter should take Lamps right away…that would probe my theory that english footballers are, as spaniards, just a lot of fuzz and no game right

BTW…if you pay 18 mill lbs. what do you get?

A hell of a great striker from Amsterdam, or 4 meters of robot dancing…

Sounds like a tough choice, isn’t it Portsmouth?

And yes!!! I wanted to write “isn’t it” instead of “doesn’t it” !!!!!

It’s called literary licence, so suck it!
