To be a football manager, you need a good poker face. Seriously, look at them. Miserable. Were you to take Scolari, Wenger and Benitez to a private stand up show starring “comedian” Ricky Gervais, you’d see a grown man die on stage. The three wouldn’t muster a single smile, and should they even bother to applaud at the end of his terrible show, it would be completely muted. One man struggling with his poker face at the moment, however, is Sir Alex Ferguson. He keeps blushing and giggling whenever anyone shows him a picture of Berbatov. Does he know something we don’t?
Ramos willing to sell Keane and Berbatov
Wow, what a day for Spurs. Remember how everyone when totally bananas over the idea of having Defoe, Bent, Keane and Berbatov all in the same squad? Now it looks like Keano and Berbs will be joining the other two in whatever football heaven they relocted to (what do you mean Bent’s still at Tottenham? Don’t be ridiculous!). Ramos hinted at a possible double sale with this eyebrow-raising quote:
“At Tottenham, we have had a clear philosophy regarding buying and selling for years. The idea is signing young players, promising and talented ones, and if important offers for older players are made, studying it to see what is the best for the club.”
Hmmm, interesting.

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he has “made a bid for one player who would enhance us a great deal.” Right, that’ll definitely be Berbatov then.

Bring on Berba!!!! That magical touch and lethal finish is just what we need. imagine tevez and berbs up front. rooney and nani sharing and swapping the wide play, anderson and scholes in the middle.

what do ya mean by berba and tevez upfront????tevez is likely to play wings and rooney shud support berbatov upfront…….dese way there will be there good linkage of passes from tevez and rooney andberbatov will do all the finishing work….all hail united…ronaldo u r free to decide where u want to go…

It scares me too think that we would be willing to “sell” our best players to the opposition and then still say we want to compete against them. The same thing happened with Carrick. How can the mighty Spurs become a feeder club for Manu…..

I really hope he goes to Barca. If this 24m is really gonna be offered, Spurs have to take it unless Utd go with crazy money like 35m. We may get somebody nice from them in the deal too.
I think most Spurs fans hope for this outcome. Except those who still think he’s staying of course.
