Especially when you put him in the same defence with Wayne Bridge. At least Johnson went in search of first team football to better himself. The Wayne Rooney comment too is a little unfair. He goal record of 94 in 267 games isn't the greatest. But thats still a goal every three games. Which when you consider how often he is played out of position and how often he tracks back to midfield isn't bad at all. Most people only knock his goal record now because of how well Christian "the slave" Ronaldo did last year. But what most people forget, is that if it wasn't for Rooney and Tevez doing so much hard work, Ronaldo wouldn't have scored half as many goals. That's why he isnt the same player is for Man Utd at Portugal. Rooney, even with all the broken bones in his foot, is still one of the best second strikers in the world.
