I love it!!! I'm a chelsea season ticket holder and Good luck to Man City. The simple fact is that as soon as City had an offer accepted then all we had to do was offer the equivalent. Then Madrid would have had to accept or release the fact they just didn’t want him to send him to us!! Anyway we didn’t so we cant of wanted him that much, so why chase him all summer!!
I already hated Kenyon before this, but can’t blame him. Anyways City should have offered for Owen as he is someone whose club can have heads turned by money. And who does robinho replace city boys. petrov, SWP?

Not only did City NOT get Berbatov from under United's noses, like they were so so sure they would, but they did United a massive favour by taking Robinho from under Chelsea's noses. Nice one.

I don't think Robinho, the player is the most important thing about this deal. He's Clearly not worth the £32.50 million. 25 goals in 104 games isn't that great. He never plays well against big teams, and he's not the toughest player. He gets pushed around quite a bit in La Liga, how will he cut the hussle of the Premier league?

Now please don't get me wrong, I'm a United fan, so some of you will think this is sour grapes. But it's not. Because this transfer is HUGE for City, it proves they can compete with Chelsea and United. It didn't matter who they signed yesturday, as long as they showed their intent. The first Superstar signing, the first Man City Galactico, the begining of a new era.

im a cfc fan and am glad now we havent got the greedy sod, i was sad at first, but robino said on sunday his head was with chelsea, but soon as city offered 92k a week he moved within hours, so i think we had a lucky escape.I really think we needed a different type of striker too, such as villa, just a goal machine.Peter kenyon did all he could and realised that robhino wasnt worth the risk of 40 million, only time will tell, but i rate peter kenyon, he is no mug and all things considerd think weve had a lucky escape.I f city think its just a matter of buying a top player and suddenly you win everything , then they are in for a shock.
