He watched Santini make the mistakes, and learnt the players. Simply put, he had the chance to hit the ground running. Ramos is starting from scratch, does not really know his players, and has lost the best two players he had. I loved Jol, I am sad he has left, and I am happy he is doing well. Ramos is the best manager outside the Champions League. In January, we will start to see what he can really do, and next season is the marker.
