Kaka mocks Mourinho after Milan derby triumph

That Ronaldinho must be a bad influence

Being such a devout Christian, Kaka usually does everything possible to shy away from controversy but even he couldn’t resist a dig at Jose Mourinho after AC Milan triumphed 1-0 in the Milan derby.

The former Chelsea boss was adamant that his team deserved a point from the game and also took a swipe at Serie A leaders Lazio. He said:

“I saw two teams tonight and neither one deserved a win more than the other,” before adding: “When I look at the table, with all due respect, I don’t look at Lazio, Napoli or Catania. I see that we are ahead of Roma, Juventus and Milan.”

Kaka, whose compatriot and polar opposite Ronaldinho scored the winner with his first goal for the club, bit back by saying:

“It’s true we scored the goal, but other than that I think we dominated the match and always tried to play attacking football. Mourinho makes me laugh, like when he said Dejan Stankovic’s foul was really me pretending to be injured as a tactical choice. It’s funny.”

“It’s wonderful to see Ronaldinho so happy and determined to become a decisive player again. He is working so hard and is on his way back. We may make different lifestyle choices, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends and play together. I am very glad he’s here, as he has brought many things the team was missing.”

Elsewhere in Europe, Bayern Munich continued their poor start in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 defeat to Hannover while Martin Jol’s Hamburg are back on top. Steve McClaren’s FC Twente are unbeaten and up to fourth in the Eredivisie after a 3-0 win over De Graafschap
