If winning matches from a losing situation is lucky then clearly Liverpool have been consistently 'lucky' throughout their recent years. The great Man U teams of the 90s were reknown for this 'luckiness' too. It seems that to some people a red card is a guarantee of two goals.

Having played 8 Premier League matches Liverpool have won after going behind 4 times. They have beaten Man U, something Chelsea couldn't manage. Whilst Chelsea have played beautiful football it would be wrong to deny Liverpool credit.

Supporting a team is one thing but being ignorant to the achievements of other teams doesn't make u any more of a supporter. It just makes you an ignorant supporter.

It 's difficult because instead chelsea, liverpool are not at 100% of their capacities, they are not playing their best game, but they are still winnig and progressing. Chelsea are playing their best game actuelly, but not Liverpool. When both teams will be playing at 100% it will be more easy to compare them.

Liverpool's luck will run out - Arsenal were like this last season, dragging themselves back into games in the last 5 minutes and look what happened to them. Liverpool are leaking goals against average sides - no chance. And yes, Big Phil is making them less etestable. If they just sold Cole, Terry, Drogba, Mikel, Anelka and Lampard, they would be a little bit likeable.

I agree... this isn't really a competition. Liverpool have shown a little more resilience than in the past few years but Chelsea are thumping perfectly decent teams and hardly breaking a sweat. They should have put 3 or 4 past Villa the other week. Liverpool are getting some breaks but luck doesn't last.

I'm more impressed with Chelsea. They've never given away as much goals as Liverpool did. And Liverpool just seems to be depending upon luck--so much luck at that.
