Whoever you get is doomed – not even Sir Alex could do a decent job with those chumps convinced of their ability to do a better job above him. It won’t make much difference whether you fire Ramos or give him a pay rise, so might as well keep him and save yourselves a few million and the pain of another false dawn when the next lame duck manager comes along.

why do spurs fans refuse to blame ramos. the team is a disaster, he can’t motivate, he thinks winning cups is as good as winning/staying in the league, he looks lost and weird on the touchline, his team selection is erratic, he believes in dismantling the back four every two weeks to let ledley king play, he only ever won some uefa cups anyway – no leagues. levy made a bad decision – you knew that when he sacked jol – why not ask for a new manager. ramos isn’t getting you out of this now – too deep
