I fully agree, in fact I’ve actually been so upset about the decision since yesterday and concerned for Cesc to be honest.

But obviously, we have to get behind him and hope the responsibility is really shared in the dressing room and on the pitch.

Regardless, I still think Cesc isn’t right for Arsenal at this point in time. He either needs to grow as a footballer or change his style in a sense. I’m really not in favour of him as captain. And to be honest, he has no merit for the job apart from the fact that he’s our “talisman”.
