Mourinho targets Arsenal striker, Juventus after two Liverpool stars

The latest gossip, rumours and damned lies

kAKA

Ever since the Arabian businessman took over at Manchester City, they have been on a mission to secure the services of every great forward they have ever seen on the television. One of their long term targets is Kaka, who may be tempted to make the switch at the end of the season…

Kaka to Manchester City
According to “sources at Eastlands”, Manchester City are confident of landing Kaka in the summer and are already planning on how to best fit him into the side. City believe Kaka could be convinced to play alongside countryman Robinho – can you guess how they might persuade him?
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Kaka is actually wanted at Milan and you’d imagine the devout Christian would have enough dignity and morals not to simply chase the dollar, Robinho-style.

Nicklas Bendtner to Inter Milan
Jose Mourinho is interested in taking Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner to Italy according to The Times.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Surely ‘the Special One’ has seen Bendtner play before??

Liverpool exodus
Ryan Babel and Daniel Agger are reportedly wanted by Juventus. Real Madrid, who have been linked with every midfielder in England, are apparently after Xabi Alonso.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: With Robbie Keane’s departure imminent according to Lawro, it is doubtful Benitez will let too many other players leave in January.

Martin Jol back to England
Ex Spurs boss Martin Jol has said he won’t rule out returning to management in England. After a successful start to his spell at Hamburg, Jol is unsure how far he can take Hamburg with such tight financial controls, as he looks set to lose striker Ivica Olic to Bayern Munich.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Aside from Redknapp, Jol is the most successful Spurs manager over the last 12 years (42% win rate) so Blackburn and Sunderland might well consider him.

Ashley Young and Gabriel Agbonlahor to the States

According to the Daily Star, sprinting legend Michael Johnson has told Villa boss Martin O’Neill he can make his two English stars even faster in the summer and has invited both to a training camp with him.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Although Johnson’s apparent proposal is less ludicrous than Mike Tyson offering to help Wayne Rooney with anger management, don’t expect to see either in the USA in the summer. Unless they go to Disney World on holiday.
