The talk of £107m was plucked out the sky or at least leaked by Beloscomi's media companies. All we knew was that it would have been a world record transfer. Who's to know whether or not he should have joined. I am happy for him. He loves Milan and that is great, but he never turned down City. Milan did that by trying to screw us over and good for us that we were not prepared to be taken for a ride. Best of luck to Kaka and I hope that with the De Jong and Bridge (who are great signings) and Bellamy who is a seasoned pro proven in the Prem (albeit a reasonably uncouth nutter) we will push on, progress in to Europe, qualify for the UEFA next year and press on. Hopefully now the pathetic press, who seem determined to hope that we, an ambitious club daring to have aspirations of challenging the current world order, fail, can get off our back and let us get on with it.
