Transfer Talk

Hammers chase Serie B ace, Man City to poach long-term Man Utd target

The latest transfer gossip, rumours and damned lies

Savio Nsereko

If West Ham get their way, this young chap will fill the angry, hate-filled void left by Craig Bellamy. More on that later – here’s the rest of the movers and shakers in Transferland today…

Jimmy Bullard to Hull
After reported interest from Arsenal, Bolton, Middlesbrough and Sunderland, Sky Sports claim Hull have agreed a £5m fee with Fulham, and the Tigers now face the task of persuading the London lad to move to Yorkshire.

The Spoiler truth-o-meter: Fulham didn’t try very hard to keep their best player, did they?

Emile Heskey to Aston Villa
It looked like Emile William Ivanhoe Heskeywas all set to join former club Liverpool, but Villa believe they have secured the services of the proven Premier League hitman

The Spoiler truth-o-meter: Rafa has said he is not interested in parting with big money (£4m-ish) for Heskey, so it looks like Villa’s £3.5m bid may have sealed it.

Miguel Veloso to Manchester City
Sporting’s 22-year-old midfielder has been on Sir Alex’s radar for some time, but City are said to have tabled a £19m bid for the much-hyped Portuguese.

The Spoiler truth-o-meter: Interested parties may also have to pay a £28m get-out clause on Veloso’s contract, and only one club in th eworld is stupid enough keen enough to do that.

Savio Nsereko to West Ham
According to The Independent, Hammers club execs have been in Italy for the past two days thrashing out a £10m deal for Brescia’s German striker Nsereko.

The Spoiler truth-o-meter: West Ham should definitely reinvest their Craig Bellamy money, but is Serie B the place to shop?

Poaching?..eh, as far as I’m aware that would be stealing the player off a club whom he’s contracted to…this is just signing a player that another club has been looking at.
    You twat.

You Citeh fans are so unbelievably sensitive – you’re giving Spurs fans a run for their money!

Its funny how the city fans soons show their colours when a negative comment is up, don’t like them little picky posts no? sensative are we? Don’t get sore just because your boardmen don’t know where the purse-strings are (or how to pull them). How about you put a smile on your face, and ignore the little negative comments instead of wasting time posting pointless moans everytime someone hits a nerve. You would think that City fans would be happy with Premier League status for now, it was to many moons ago you was scraping the bottom of the lower leagues for a vitory and was happy with the odd win. If you can’t handle life at the “ever glorious” City then maybe you should try and support a team that gets real stick by the media, or if thats too much for you, glory hunting may float your boat, I hear the devils calling from down the road. And if none of that suits you, stuff your face with humble pie and shhh…

    bob job,

we’re just getting sick and tired of all this made up media crap everyday. Nobs like Bailey spout this rubbish continually with no basis in truth.
We have a right to reply and so we’ll use it.

Try to calm down, City fans, it’s just transfer rumours!

It’s not exactly news that the tabloids make up nonsense everyday, nothing there or at this site is claiming to be fact. The headline “The latest transfer gossip, rumours and damned lies” suggests it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Can’t you guys handle being in the spotlight or something? If things go as planned for you, you’re gonna have to get used to it…
