Berbatov defends his laziness
Manchester Utd striker plays it cool
Dimitar Berbatov, whose work rate at Manchester Utd is often compared to that of a stoned teenager, has finally mustered the energy to tell us why Wayne Ronney runs around like a Japanese beaver and he takes things a little slower. Apparently, it’s because he doesn’t panic:
“I’m a relaxed guy. I play the way I do and can’t change – that’s the way I prefer to play. I watch games and see guys who panic on the ball and look so nervous.”But I sometimes know what I want to do before the ball comes to me so I stay calm.
“I still have things to do before I’m completely happy with my game but the boss [Sir Alex Ferguson] tells me not to change anything. He gives me the freedom to express my qualities.
So, is Berbs lazy, or a superb striker whose cool demanour should be admired? We’ve criticised the Bulgarian’s stroppiness and petulance in the past, but we’re actually quite inclined to go with the latter on this one – let us know what you think below…

I don’t think that he is lazy – obvously Tevez and Rooney run more – but you cannot have several strikers running all at the same time and competing for every ball. He is doing better in Man U. as time goes by. He is a very good player and I think it is more important that the other players learn to look for him and play with him. Carrick, for example, is doing a good job at this.

Ryan, you need to get laid! Berbatov never compare his self to Rooney (just read what he says on ManUtd.com). Stop the stupidity and jerk with your wife! Do you know – you polished brain asshole, that Berbatov presently is one of the TOP 5 players regarding to the Premiership Actim Index: http://www.premierleague.com/page/ActimIndex
