How much will Robbie Keane’s transfer cost Liverpool?
How Robbie could get his revenge on Rafa
If we are to believe The Sun’s assertion that Robbie Keane’s transfer to Tottenham yesterday cost the north Londoners £12m, then the under-used striker cost Liverpool precisely £1.1m per goal and £5,070 for every minute on the pitch.
It’s worth noting, however, that Keane’s departure may be even more costly for Liverpool. On the last day of the season, Tottenham will visit Anfield – imagine the furor if Rafa’s least favourite Irishman scored the goal that stopped Liverpool winning their first Premier League trophy…
