Kaka considered Manchester City “out of respect to Milan”
Brazilian only had Milan’s financial interests in mind
Now that the dust has settled on the Kaka’s Manchester City transfer saga, the Brazilian has told the world why he chose not to join the Premier League. Apparently, the the discussions were not motivated by money or the chance of playing in the world’s greatest league, but by his selfless desire to swell the Rossoneri’s coffers at a time of current economic crisis. He told Sportsmediaset:
“I never wanted to leave this club, and this was proven by the fact that I rejected all of the offers that came my way.
“However, out of respect for Milan, I did consider some of City’s offers, as from an economic point of view, their proposal was very convenient for them, meaning that I was considering leaving the club.
“AC Milan are also a business and in this moment of crisis, I think it is normal to consider the budget.”
Should we believe that Kaka was really prepared to move to Manchester for the sake of Milan’s budget? Or is he fishing for excuses that justify his association with the whole debacle? Hindsight is a wonderful thing…

Oh really. Maybe Kaka can donate part of his salary to Milan.
