Ahead of tonight’s clash between Manchester Utd and Inter Milan, the respective managers have been employing some world class mind games. Alex Ferguson predicts a 1-0 victory tonight, while Jose Mourinho claims it will go right down to the wire in the second leg.
The players have also been fighting the good verbal fight: Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted it is time for United to “kill or be killed”, while Mourinho’s highly polished diamond in the rough Zlatan Ibrahimovic waded in with his own words of wisdom:
“United may be champions of Europe but we are champions of Italy and I warn them that they are about to suffer.”
Um, Zlatan, we’re fairly sure that being champions of the entire continent of Europe is better than being champions of a single nation. Rubbish trash talk aside, tonight’s game arguably sees two of the world’s best teams play at a stadium where the home side have yet to lose a league match. But what will happen?
