David Beckham to be coached by Community Support Officer

This Surrey law man has accepted a role at LA Galaxy

Andy Bridgman

Andy Bridgman has been a community support officer in Surrey commuter town Horley for the past six years, during which he has successfully established No Cold Calling Zone, a Pubwatch scheme and Shopwatch. However, the PCSO and qualified coach is set to give up this glamorous lifestyle to take a position at the LA Galaxy, where he will coach David Beckham, Landon Donovan and loads of people you’ve never heard of:

A coaching scout for Major League Soccer called him late last year to offer him the job and he is taking a 12-month career break to accept it.”How many people get this kind of opportunity?” he said.

“Not only to play football full-time but also to work alongside the top teams in America?

“It’s fantastic. At first I thought, it’s not real.”

Bridgman is planning to stay in Los Angeles for just twelve months, but whether he will try and extend this loan spell, or spend his own cash to make the move permanent remains to be seen.

We’ve been keeping tabs on Mr Bridgman for sometime. His excellence with Zonal Marking has highlighted his exceptional talent. If your a betting man then I would suggest placing a bet for England coach for a big money payout.
