Most of the papers are carrying reports that Carlos Tevez will end his relationship with Manchester Utd this year. When asked in an Argentinean television interview whether he would consider another English club, he casually replied: “Why not?” The Manchester Utd message boards are now alive with talk that he will join Liverpool.

In the defence of the Spoiler, at the end of the day the website advertises itself as transfer gossip, so the fact that the Samuel Eto’o story is backed up with an article from the Mirror is something of a bonus.
Furthermore regarding the Tevez to Liverpool rumour, the author has conceded that it is from a source that isn’t too credible.
Its gossip, it doesn’t have to be the truth.
