Man Utd’s £50m Kaka bid, Ancelotti says no to Chelsea
The latest transfer gossip, rumours and damned lies
Kaka to Manchester Utd
If Cristiano Ronaldo makes his much-discussed escape to Real Madrid this summer, Manchester Utd will launch a bid for Kaka, say the Daily Mail. The Reds will offer only half of the £100m that Manchester City dangled in front of AC Milan, but they will almost certainly hold twice the appeal.
The Spoiler truth-o-meter: This is a tough one to read. The Brazilian has been setting himself up for a summer move, but has recently re-declared his love for the Rossoneri.
Fabian Delph to Aston Villa
Leeds Utd have already rejected a bid from Newcastle, and have received interest from Manchester Utd and Arsenal for their talented midfielder. Aston Villa are the latest Premier League side to enter the fray, claim The Sun.
The Spoiler truth-o-meter: Delph is destined for the Premier League, and would undoubtedly find a happy home at Villa Park. It all depends on whether Ken Bates wishes to sell.
Carlo Ancelotti not coming to Chelsea
Milan have called a press conference in order to clarify boss Carlo Ancelotti’s position at the club, and the 49-year-old delivered bad news for the Blues:
“I am not awaiting any signal from the club on my future. I have an excellent rapport with Milan and I did not request a contract extension because there is no need.
“Chelsea know full well that I have another year on my contract. It’s true my English could be better, but it’s not about the language.
“We’ve talked it over with the club and everything is very clear. I have a contract and I think it will continue, it’s all there in black and white.
“With Hiddink’s situation it is only natural rumours fly about that bench, just as it’s normal Chelsea are seeking a good Coach, but they know I am staying here now.”
The Spoiler truth-o-meter: This does sound quite ‘black and white’, but we still think Ancelotti has a future in West London.
