Vote: Should Chelsea get rid of Didier Drogba?

Blues may ditch Champions League troublemaker

Didier Drogba

Competition for the lauded Ashley Cole Referee Bullying Award was fierce on Wednesday night, but Didier Drogba just about edged ahead Michael Ballack to secure victory.

Following the flip-flopped potty mouth rant that may see him out of European action until beyond Christmas, the hot-headed Ivorian is in grave danger of losing his space in the Chelsea training ground car park. According to the nation’s favourite red top (that’ll be The Sun), the Blues are ready to ditch the Ivorian, provided they get a decent offer in the summer.

The Spoiler appreciates Drogba’s passion, but can’t see past the stones he is throwing from his glass house: for a player whose game is based so much around cheating to lambast a referee for failing to stick to the rules is the height of hipocracy. That said, we’re not convinced his unprofessional actions are worthy of expulsion from Stamford Bridge.

What do you think? Sell him or give him a slap on the wrist? Let us know below…

They should keep him. He’s a cunt, exactly the type of player Chelsea fans can relate to.

Disgrace to football, not a role model for young players to look up to. What type of person who is paid a kings ransom to play the beautiful game and then act like that. He is supposed to be a professional, acted like a spoiled BRAT. Players like him and BALLACK are spoiling the game for everyone.

    Give Drogba a pay rise.Great player,you’re not
goin to tell me his shirt wasen’t pulled and he wasn’t tripped. His passion and honesty is above
question. He only said what every other person thought. What a hero this man is,don’t forget he
alone stopped a civil war in his home country. He
made one mistake he used the f word, but then
again those children should be in bed.Drogba has
    gone up in my estimations.

    Keep him.

He’s the reason why every Liverpool defender can’t sleep at night.

    That satisfaction is enough.

Whether Drogba stays or goes won’t change the facts…if Chelsea can’t win at home, a man up, with 2 of the oppositions best defenders not playing they don’t deserve to go through to the CL final.
