Carlo Ancelotti to bring Kaka and Andrea Pirlo to Chelsea
Prospective manager wants Milanese talent to join him in London
Carlo Ancelotti has tried his hardest to distance himself from rumours that he will become Chelsea next season, but following yesterday’s barbed comments from Silvio Berlusconi, a move to West London looks much more likely.
The Telegraph this morning report that Chelsea are convinced they will land the Italian, and that he has signed a “pre-contract agreement” that will see him at Stamford Bridge for the next three years.
Quite how The Telegraph were privy to secret talks that took place between the Milan manager and Chelsea on Monday is anyone’s guess, but the newspaper believes the Champions League-winning manager has told Roman Abramovich he wishes to bring two of his players with him: Kaka and Andrea Pirlo.
Chelsea have previously expressed an interest in Kaka, but they will face fierce competition from Real Madrid for his signature. The Spoiler would love to see the Brazilian in the Premier League, but unfortunately, we can’t see Chelsea entering into an astronomical bidding war with Los Blancos. Plus, assuming they keep the likes of Mikel and Essien, we can’t really see why they would need Pirlo.
