Video highlights: England/ Andorra

That was easier than Danielle Lloyd at a Spurs Christmas party

England 6/ Andorra 0
The Spoiler takes intends to take nothing away from a good England performance, but we’ve never seen a side as poor as Andorra on the international stage.

The part-timers had absolutely no intention of attacking, and gave the Three Lions all the space in the world to do their business. At some points, David Beckham - who has been playing for England for longer than Andorra have actually had a national football team – had no one around him for twenty yards. He could have tied his shoe laces or nipped off for a quick haircut and no one would have challenged for the ball.

We don’t wish to be cruel, but having a team like Andorra in World Cup Qualifying seems is a waste of everyone’s time. They should be made to participate in a pre-qualifying tournament before they get the chance to be smashed up by the rest of Europe.

Look again at that first goal, Andora’s defence holds the worst line I’ve ever seen. Despite being nowhere near the ball one of the center backs actually steps 2 yards backwards(!) then appeals for offside after the ball is in the net.

The best goal is the last one – at [6.48] Defoe’s touch is absolutely shocking but he still manages to keep the ball.

Crouch doesn’t know whether to celebrate or just point and laugh when it goes over the line.

I agree, make it like CONCACAF so that teams like Montserrat or Guadeloupe while having nice stories, but don’t have any real chance can play some playoffs and then get eliminated. Same with Oceania conference when Australia was beating America Samoa 40-0, how is that type of competition going to help New Zealand, the only team w/ a chance of advancing to the WC from there?
