Aside from that and regarding Owen himself, I reckon that his most recent injury trouble is as much a reflection on Newcastle's facilities as it is on Owen. Everyone goes on about how AC Milan have the ability to keep pensioners playing through their brilliant facilities, yet Newcastle are plagued by injuries every season so maybe they have facilities that knacker a fair proportion of their players...
