Revealed: The thrilling world of Man City’s Twitter feed
The Citizens invite you to watch paint dry. Literally…
The Spoiler is a big fan of Manchester City’s smart new official site, and we certainly appreciate their attempts to embrace the world of online interactivity. They regularly update their official Twitter feed, but we can’t help but think they’re not making the best use of the ‘twitpic‘ feature.
Instead of candid training ground snaps or behind-the scenes photos from foreign pre-season tours, we get an exclusive peak at the new coat of paint on the concourses at Eastlands. Exciting stuff, non?
… And here’s the club’s new open plan offices, which are startlingly similar to most other open plan offices.
We appreciate ultramodern lighting solutions as much as the next man, but we’d probably be more interested in getting a half decent glimpse at City’s £25m purchase from MSI.
The concept of re-branding the stadium hoardings with the names of legendary players was obviously too far fetched to visualise, so we are given this titillating snap.
This horrifically underexposed snap of a few people milling around begs the question: can’t this club afford a decent camera and can’t they point it at something interesting?!

This is nothing to do with me chaps, however……..interesting all the same…
‘Posted this yesterday which i believe was all over red cafe (I was sent it by a mate, would never go on there, unlike Jason Smith, who goes on MCFC.co.uk regularly)’
Firstly, don’t shoot the messenger, I don’t do WUMS, I am merely passing on the details of a phonecall I received just now from a mate with some pretty reliable connections in the press and at United.
Basically he said the following:
Vidic isn’t injured, he is in fact in the process of being sold to either AC Milan or Barcelona for £55 million and that is the reason he has been withdrawn “injured” for two weeks. He has caved in to pressure from his missus and although United have offered to up his salary by £30K he has said no. He is apparently due to be sold as soon as we secure his replacement, an as yet unnamed 6’4 Dutch centre half…
It gets worse…
We were 60 days from administration, £60 million of the £80 million we got for Ronnie has gone on the debt, up to 15000 ST holders haven’t renewed and although there is a 20,000 waiting list, very few have taken up the offer of an ST. Fergie has been given the job of releasing assets for top price (Vidic, Ronaldo etc) and to win the league using youth players and/or cheap acquisitions and United are in the process of massive cost cutting to pay off sums we currently can’t afford. He is also being pressured to buy players on the cheap now and sell at profit in the coming years for the forseeable future to service the repayments on the debt.

Kelly, it makes for beautiful reading although it sounds a bit far fetched. Maybe City will pay £20m for Michael Owen when he plays a full season, scores 20 goals and doesn’t even catch a cold for that mob.

kelly someone has made that up, manure were in the hunt for players in the +30m bracket this season aswell as already spending 20m+, while i dont doubt some of the cash they got for ron went on the debt i dont think things are quite that bad over at the swamp just yet,
the debt is the owners and when he sells the debt will be gone or moved on and there would be a que of billionaires waiting to buy manure the only way it can affect manure is if he refuses to sell at a personal loss to himself! (if manures value drops) IE he owes 800m to the banks so would he sell for 600m and take a 200m loss? (if the answer is yes then the future is fine) ,,,
and im a city fan so i would love for kellys story to come true lols muhahahaha
