Mick is a true gentleman, was a great footballer, but never ever has he been management material and the tactics or lack of on tuesday night against Stevenage just was the last straw, having Tyler take all the free kicks, even from the half way line, HOOF? why was it not changed at half time?.

I partially agree - certainly no other manager would have come to Luton and stuck at it like Mick did, and we owed him the chance to see what he could do with a clean slate.

However, tactically naive he was, and I believe any other manager with 2020's backing would a) have us higher up in BSP and b) would've made more fight of the 30 point deduction.

Stronger off the pitch, but shambles on the pitch largely thanks to Mick, despite the backing given by the board...

I'm sure that many Luton supporters could write volumes on this, especially as you are guilty of putting words into peoples mouths. I haven't read anywhere that Harford did a "wonderful job", but I do know that he is one of the most loyal servants our club has ever had, both on the playing and non-playing side. He took on a job which I would venture to suggest that no-one else would of and at a time when we were being faced with not having a club at all, he assembled a squad against all the odds and was Manager at the most difficult time in our history. Tactically naive he may be, lacking experience certainly, but steering us through unprecendented points deductions and delivering a fantastic day out at Wembley for 40,000 Hatters last season will be positives on Mick's CV and we wish him every success in teh future, as he is and always will be a legend at Kenilworth Road.

Pardon my ignorance but if Harford has done such a wonderful job, why have you got rid of him?

You wouldn't tried to have sounded so "clever" if you had actually bothered to check all of the facts before committing your finger to keyboard.

A truly ignorant and lazy pieve of "writing".

Next time, you should check your facts prior to hitting the "publish" button.

Rubbish. Don't comment on something if you have no understanding of the context. When Mick joined we had about 6 players contracted beyond the end of the season and not a single centre-back on the books. We were in administration and the club was a mess. The 'two relegations' you talk of were largely due to a combined 40 point deduction during his tenure. Mick and the board have steadied the ship and laid the foundations for a brighter future and we all wish him the very best for the future.

Luton Town are infinitly stronger than they were when Mick took over. This article displays an astonishing ignorance of the subject matter.
