Dokièh, Argentina does to need the win. If they lose and Ecuador win (which could easily happen with Chile already through), Argentina wouldn’t even get a playoff spot. Great finish in all the other regions besides UEFA in the qualifying campaign.

Uruguay wins 1 – 0 in a tough and rough match. The match between Ecu vs Chile and Uru vs Arg IS at the same time. It just that Uruguay just switched to daylight savings time which is what probably led to the mix up.

I think it won’t be a difficult match for Argentina. Uruguay needs the victory, Maradona’s guys don’t. ‘La Celeste’ will attack from the kick-off to the final whistle – watch out Messi and Higuaín in Argentina’s counter.
