How about Boue and the Bear? Provided of course that David Hassellhoff has no objections. You could give him a producer credit and a bottle of ripple.

Eliot, don't listen to McRib. I think the daily eboue has all the makings of a great daily feature and possibly even it's own spin-off.

I particularly like his new best friend (the as yet unidentified bear). If you could get more pictures of eboue and his friend i think this will add an extra dimension.
Perhaps they could be involved in a series of adventures based around solving crime (a la Murder she wrote) the bear would be the brains behind the organisation with him knowing who did it from the beginning but stringing everyone along for the full episode, just like columbo does but without the trench coat and with 2 glass eyes. Eboue would provide the comedy and footballing skills, which would rarely be needed.
You could also have special guest appearances from his footballing friends, like the cheeky arshavin or evil adebayor.
If you could also give a cool 80s name like cagney and lacey, i think you would be onto a winner.

I do realise this is highly unlikely, but we all have to dream.
