Premier League easier than reserve games, says Kakuta
Might just have the right mix of arrogance, and… erm, arrogance
Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo packed his various moisturisers and hair lotions into a bum-bag and hopped on a plane to sunny Madrid, old women all around the country have been secretly praying for another young man to arrive from the continent with quick feet and gargantuan self belief. Ladies, might that young man be Gael Kakuta?
He showed glimpses of great potential over the weekend against Wolves, which pretty much ticked the “quick feet” box. And now (as spotted in the Telegraph), his enormous self confidence has been unveiled in an interview with Chelsea TV, in which he talked about making his Premier League debut…
“Yes (it is easier than the reserves) because the game is much quicker, you have more choice when you play, you can play one touch, two touch, so it is much better.”
He went on to explain that, really, he wasn’t nervous at all, and now the whisper on the street is that he’ll be in the Chelsea squad for tomorrow’s game against Porto.
Is there a hotter young prospect in the Premier League at the moment? Let us know with a comment…

Would be interesting to hear from anyone who’s seen more of him but judging by the highlights on Sun he looked like a Robben Mk 2. He’s even got the spacky hand/arm movements down to a t.

Jack Wilshere is better than Gael Kakuta.
