RVN has been top scorer in 3 different leagues. Morientes has never been top scorer period. LFC badly lack firepower and despite fitness, RVN is still the best finisher in the business alongside Ronaldo

@Uncle- I dont think he is particularly bothered about the champs lg, he isnt playing at all right now and at his age cant afford to be too fussy. @Delboy- The Morientes deal was permanent rather than a loan and he was untested in English football, Ruud is at least a proven goal scorer in England. Also, (daydream time), just imagine the look on Taggarts face if he ever netted for Lfc against utd
