Can Spurs beat the Man United Juniors tonight?
In buoyant spirits… NOT!
The word on the street is that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to keep faith in the bumbling kids who whimpered out against Besiktas last week in tonight’s Carling Cup quarter-final, which must surely give Harry Redknapp and his team a decent sniff at victory.
Or at least it would, were there not a hint that Redknapp might be planning a similar line in blooding lesser-celebrated squad players.
“It is a one-off game at Wembley, a great day out for the fans. If you win it everyone enjoys it but Tottenham won it two years ago and then went into freefall. So it didn’t do them any good.”
Hmm, not exactly fighting talk there, Harry.
