France are not happy about their World Cup seeding
Michel Hidalgo – malcontent
Like a dumpy child who punches you square in the face, then cries when they’re being told off, France have reportedly been hurling their croissants from their bicycle baskets over news that they haven’t been made a top seed for the World Cup.
As reported in today’s Telegraph, former France coach Michel Hidalgo is particularly miffed by the whole affaire terrible.
“At the highest level of football, there has to be comprehensive moral justic – and I don’t know why France is a top seed.”
“Who made Argentina top seeds? And what have England done to be top seeds, apart from having a league full of foreign players?”
“I am asking myself if this is not a sanction for the handball of Henry.”
Fresh from defending the Charlize Theron Irish gag, Jerome Valcke had this to say:
“We used purely sporting criteria.”
Settled, then.
