The Big Question

VOTE: Should Ferguson resign in the name of Socialism?

Oooh, decisions, decisions…

Sir Alex Ferguson

The whisper from today’s Guardian is that a posse of Man United supporters held a meeting over the weekend to plot the downfall of the Glazers, in light of the botched up finances threatening to leave a smudge on their beloved United legacy.

Johnny Flacks, one of the revolutionaries, and a founding member of the Independent Manchester United Supporters’ Association, has called for Sir Alex Ferguson to resign in protest.

“This is not intended as an Alex Ferguson rant,”

“But he claims to be a socialist, a former shop steward and a man of the people, so he must be horrified by what is going on.”

“It would work only if thousands of people sent a copy of this letter to Ferguson letting him know that our fear, if the Glazers stay in control, is that his legacy is going to be destroyed.”

“We wouldn’t want that and I don’t think he would either.”

But what do YOU think? Should the manager show solidarity and get involved? Or silently sit back and let the Capitalist pigs run amok?

When I was at Manchester I used to socialise all the time and Sir Alex, he have no problem with this. I don’t see why he needs to resign.
