The more eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that this song was released by a strange pressing-together-of-names made up of England footballers, and the surviving members of Joy Division, who had long since reinvented themselves as vest-wearing nightclubbers, and changed their name to New Order.
Without question, the greatest tournament song ever released, and that includes the Baddiel and Skinner thing from Euro 96. Look out for a great rap from John Barnes, and some fine multitasking from Gazza, who manages to play keepy-uppy and sing at the same time. Impressive.
