It’s a little known fact, but before he decided to model himself on the Prince of Darkness by growing a terrifying goatee beard, Terry Venables had a face that was almost as smooth as his singing voice. A singing voice that sounded a bit like Frank Sinatra with a bout of crippling tonsillitis.
