Anti-homophobia commercial “postponed” by the FA

Homophobia – Let’s kick it out of football

Statistics – which rarely lie – will tell you that some footballers are gay. Some football supporters are gay. Some people that you work with are gay. You might be gay.

So it comes as a big kick in the teeth to our homosexual brothers and sisters that the “Homophobia – Let’s kick it out of football” commercial – part of a campaign between the FA and various gay rights activists groups (including Stonewall) – which was supposed to debut this week at Wembley Stadium, has been either postponed or canceled.

Hence, in the spirit of freedom of speech and all good things, you can see the ad (above), but be warned, it contains some rather “blue” use of the English language.
