The 50 fattest football pay packets in the world!
Cristiano Ronaldo = Minted
In certain walks of life, it’s considered to be at the very height of bad taste to reveal your salary. Such information can lead to bitterness, resentment, and can often result in murder.
When someone else reveals it, however, it’s totally fine. So a big doff of the cap to the Portuguese marketing agency, Futebol Finance, who (as reported in today’s Mirror) have drawn up a list of the fifty players on the biggest salaries, not including outside earnings.
You can enjoy them after the jump. Bobby Zamora fans, prepare to be shocked (where is he?)…

Where’s Fabregas in all this? He should be in the top half. I wouldn’t be surprised if this list is the final straw in the whole Barcenal saga taking place. At least there he’ll be making big-boy money.

I need to hire Adebayor’s agent because he most be very good to get Adebayor that deal. Or Citeh must be insanely stupid to be paying all the average players they have in their squad silly amount of money. Adebayor, Barry, Toure, Bridge e.t.c.

Shouldn’t Beck’s income include MLS duty?

I dont really care about the list as it doesnt concern me…but just wanna make some comments. First of all, this list is just an approximate and unofficial guess…the website (futbol finance) itself said it (I used google translation). Second, there were some strange things in this list. Is it really possible Drogba got paid so much lower than Lampard and Terry? It’s also hard to believe that Schweinsteiger topped Munich salary (with Robben) over players such as Gomez, Klose and in particular Ribbery…also why Sagnol still listed?
At the end of the day, this list doesnt concern ordinary football fans who needed to work hard day-in day-out just to have a decent living like you and me…however, I do find that this is just another publication based on little facts and plenty of guessing(yes, they admitted it was based on a approximates) that was made just to boost the website…

[...] Adebayor from Man City is the most pricey player in the Premier League but is still a couple of million behind the front men, Ibrahimovic and Eto’o, and Ferdinand earns around the same as Kolo Toure, but appears just above him on the list. [...]
