Very bad formation. The top striker should be Ronaldo ” The best striker to ever played” The second stiker should be PELE. Cruyff sholud let left off because he could not win the world cup for his country. Roberto carlos should be in for Maldini

Ronaldo a one trick pony? What trick is that, to single handedly lead Brazil to the world cup final in 98? A final where Brazil absolutely collapsed without him fit? Or turning Alessandro Nesta inside out that he obsessively watched videos tapes trying to find faults in his performances. Or giving actual nightmares to Paolo Maldini? Or grabbing the ball from half way and dribbling through an entire team and scoring? Or running through a wall of defenders, not past them, through them. Or creating goals out of nothing. Gerd Muller was a one trick pony, a penalty box striker. Ronaldo was a footballer, possibly the most talented ever.

alright guys heres the deal. pele has down is the greatest footballing legend the world has seen. three world cups. that just says. we must also remember the fifa world player award was not around when pele was playing, so he never had a chance to win it. there should be another formation in place so that gerd muller is in his team. or what about just fontaine, was he even thought about in the process. lev yashin most definitely should be the goal keeper in this team. easily the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the sport. even dino zoff, he was italy’s best goal keeper and oldest ever player, maybe after maldini. ronaldo is probably another that should be in the side, he is after all he greatest scorer in the games history, in the world cup. there is hardly a english bias in this team. bobby basically won the world cup for england and gordon banks as well was extremely good in goal, only out shone by lev yashin. does anyone think zidane should in the side? after headbutting macro materazzi, basically cost them the world cup. im not saying he wasnt great, i love zidane, my fav fooballer actually, but there are just other players i feel would look better in his position. im not sure about matthaus either, maybe johnny rep, or resenbrink or ruminigge? iunno just some thoughts

this is pretty much spot on. impressive josh. i would only swap zidane and garrincha, so him and maradona can swap wings. other than that, it’s pretty good. And also less likely to suffer from Citeh attacking syndrome as Beckenbauer can do his stuff at sweeper and all over the spine.

fluke goal? If we’re talking about Caniggias header there was no fluke. Zenga made the mistake to come of his line and Caniggia headed home. Zenga had a great tournament, no doubt, but that goal was vastly due to his error of judgement.

There will never be unity over a team like this. This team is as good as any.

I would put Schmeichel in goal – the best keeper of all time…
