AC still want Becksie, Barca fancy Torres, and more…
Beckham shirt – still in stock
He’s had a rubbish few days has David Beckham. One minute he’s trotting around, daydreaming about the World Cup, the next he’s in a changing room, weeping in emotional agony because his Achilles Tendon isn’t what it used to be.
It’s not all bad though. According to today’s Daily Star, the AC Milan vice president, Adriano Galliani, is still keen to see Beckham back at AC Milan for another stint. He said this:
“I gave him a hug in the changing rooms and I told him that if he wants, next year he will be with us.”
Here’s what else we know, thanks to today’s papers (The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Guardian etc…):
Barcelona are reportedly keen to get rid of Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the next transfer window, feeling that he’s failed to really stamp his mark on the club. The whisper on the grapevine being that they’re going to go all out to snare Torres from Liverpool.
Robbie Keane’s wife has been overheard making her views quite clear about where she would like her husband to go once his loan deal at Celtic runs out in the summer. She said this:
“Would I like to see him play for a team like LA Galaxy? Yes, I would love that, but it changes all the time.”
And Alan Shearer refused to pop on a Sunderland top on LIVE television. Even in the name of charity (via Pies):
