Crafty footballers have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to outwitting a goalkeeper from the penalty spot. In South America, they do that stop-start “oxygen swipe” – a real craze right now – whilst the look-one-way-go-the-other has long since been a big favourite.
Whether the above technique will catch on is anyone’s guess, but a hunch says that it won’t. The man responsible for the humiliating mess is Djalminha – a former Brazil international. Yes, you read that correctly.
