Should Capello take Wilshere to the World Cup?

Of the five European Championship or World Cup squads announced since 1998, only one hasn’t featured any teenagers – specifically, the World Cup 2002 squad – and of the teenage travelers (Michael Owen, Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Barry, Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott, Aaron Lennon), only one has absolutely no chance of going to the 2010 World Cup, and a hunch suggests that at least four will make the first team.
Hence, it’s a fairly well proven breeding ground for new talent. Begging the question – with one eye on the future, should Capello take a teenager along for the ride? And, more importantly, should that teenager be Jack Wilshere?
