I haven’t been that impressed with The Pacific. Maybe because Band of Brothers was so good- or maybe just because the Pacific is boring, with dull characters and too many irrelevant sub plots. Meh. The stories of the naval/air craft carrier battles would have been cooler

No way Tom! It’s all set to be brilliant. I agree that Band of Brothers was great, but it took a little while to really get cooking too. I have very high hopes.
