Hey MOTD2, how about Danny Baker for the job?
He’d be great, no?
The big television talk today appears to be all about the contenders to plug the Adrian Chiles shaped hole at the BBC, following his rather dramatic two-fingered flounce over to ITV. There are whispers of the little one from Top Gear perching on a sofa next to the recipient of Lamspie’s tender kisses on The One Show, and the young Pat Butcher-alike, Clare Balding, filling in his Apprentice spin-off duties. But the one everyone wants to know – who’s going to host MOTD2?
According to The Guardian, BBC Radio‘s third or fourth most beloved Irishman, Colin Murray, is the front runner, ahead of the likes of Gabby Logan, and Mark “Chappers” Chapman. Whilst our great buddies at Pies are keen to see The Guardian podcaster James Richardson land the job.
But The Spoiler has two words for you, BBC: Danny. Baker.
Below is a list of contenders, so place your votes, and should Danny get enough, The Spoiler will personally call (or email) the BBC and put it to them.
