The Big Question

Who should take over when Sir Alex Ferguson retires?

One of these, perhaps?

Moyes and O’Neill

Gentlemen of a certain age are just so hard to predict, with their lagging memories, their terrible mood swings, and their stories about the olden days that start out very nicely, then end rather racistly. You just don’t know what to expect.

Hence, those that wear the suits and prowl the boardrooms at Man United have decided to ignore Sir Alex Ferguson’s suggestions that there is still plenty of lead in the old pencil (figuratively speaking), and have reportedly (so says today’s Sun) lined up one or two replacements should he suddenly decide to retire and go fishing at the end of the season.

Various names have been chucked around in the last few weeks – Moyes, O’Neill, Mourinho – but who would YOU like to see carrying the torch for Man United once Ferguson retires?

I think it should be Zola who takes over from him.
What a fantastic result that would be for Hammers fans everywhere.
