What if Terry’s foot keeps him out of the World Cup?

“Ow, my foot!”

As is the England tournament tradition, an important player has managed to bugger up his foot just weeks before kick off – namely, JT. And yes, the whisper on the street is that it’s the bloody metatarsal again.

A Chelsea statement reads thusly:

“John Terry has today taken a knock in training and has gone to hospital for a precautionary scan on his right foot.”

“He left Cobham walking freely in a protective boot, and we await the results which are expected on Thursday.”

So what does this mean for the England squad if he is out? The most likely scenario would be to turn to Wes Brown, or use Carragher as cover in the middle, and draft in Gary Neville as back up for Glen Johnson.

But might The Spoiler suggest bringing in Owen Hargreaves? Both he and Milner could cover for right back AND the midfield.

What would YOU do? Let us know with a comment.

What if really nobody cares what happens to this self-centred twat.
